Susan Freifeld

Susan Freifeld has joined AGB Search as a Research Associate.  She is a former teacher, having taught art in Illinois Public Schools for over 20 years.  Prior to teaching, Ms. Freifeld taught art at the college level at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota, and at several colleges in Portland, Oregon.  Ms. Freifeld also worked in museum education, designing programs for students and teachers at the (now closed) Terra Museum of American Art in Chicago.

 Ms. Freifeld enjoys writing and research, and has assisted in product and resource development for an educational media company, Getting to Know, Inc.  She also works as a Special Projects Assistant with the Oak Park & River Forest Day Nursery, a nonprofit preschool and childcare center in her community, where she researches grant opportunities, helps with general administrative tasks and helps produce a monthly newsletter.

 Ms. Freifeld received a BS in Art Education, and an MFA, both from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.  She and her husband reside in Oak Park, Illinois, and they have an adult daughter who lives in the Phoenix area.
