Vance Peterson

Vance Peterson brings 40 years of leadership experience in higher education serving as: President of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE); President of Sierra Nevada University; Vice President, University Advancement California State University Northridge; President, CSUN Foundation; Vice President, Advancement of the Culinary Institute of America; Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Occidental College; Associate Provost for Development, UCLA; and, Executive Director of University Communications at USC.  He also served as Director of the John H. Russel Center for the Student of Higher Education at the University of Toledo, and as Post-Graduate Researcher of the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.  He is a retired Captain in the United States Navy Reserve.

Dr. Peterson holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Occidental College (CA), a Master of Science in Administration from The George Washington University (Washington, D.C.), and a Ph.D. in Administration and Policy Analysis in Higher Education from Stanford University (CA).
