Texas Woman’s University seeks a dynamic and creative enrollment strategist for the role of Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management. Reporting to Vice President for Student Life Monica Mendez-Grant, the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management is the senior administrative officer responsible for developing strategic, innovative enrollment programs that align with TWU’s distinctive mission and strengths and serving as the strategy leader responsible for driving the university’s enrollment management decisions.  The Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management will work across the University to envision and craft the organization and leadership that will lead to optimal current and future enrollment health for TWU. 

In this cabinet level position, the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management responsibilities include planning, directing, and evaluating the areas of recruitment, admissions, financial aid, and collaboration with campus-wide retention programs. The AVPEM provides vision, inspiration, and strong leadership to Offices of Admissions and  Financial Aid, staff of 74 and an annual budget of around $5 Million.  The AVPEM provides strategic, visionary and over-arching leadership to an entrepreneurial division by developing and implementing a Strategic Enrollment Management plan to guide enrollment services decisions; and achieves annual enrollment goals for all undergraduate, graduate, and professional students on each of the University campuses and online programs.

Required Education & Experience: Master’s degree required, Doctorate preferred; Minimum of eight years of significant administrative/management experience working in higher education enrollment management and a record of success in meeting enrollment goals.

About the University:  An act of the 27th Legislature in 1901 founded the Girls Industrial College as a public institution that would become Texas Woman's University in 1957. The school had then and has now a dual mission: to provide a liberal education and to prepare young women "for the practical industries of the age" with a specialized education.  Men have been admitted to TWU since 1972.  TWU continues today as a public university that offers a comprehensive catalog of academic studies, including baccalaureate, master's and doctoral degrees. Now in its tenth decade, the University has grown from a small college to a major university. TWU is the largest university primarily for women in the United States, with the main campus in Denton and health science centers in Dallas and Houston.
