The University of Colorado system seeks applications and nominations for the position of Department Head and Senior Director of Gift Planning and Gift Administration.

The Department Head and Senior Director of Gift Planning and Gift Administration oversees the Gift Planning and Gift Administration teams in their day-to-day activities and develops and guides the overall strategy for the departments. They are responsible for meeting or exceeding annual CU fundraising goals by strategically planning, coordinating, evaluating, and leading the efforts of the Office of Gift Planning. They are also responsible for partnering with development teams across the CU System and the CU Foundation to strategically advise on gift documentation, striking a balance between donor relations and compliance to ultimately secure major and principal gift commitments for the University of Colorado. Oversight of the teams includes developing and managing the budget(s); setting and reviewing team member goals and expectations; hiring, training, and supporting team members’ professional needs; and assessing, prioritizing, and reporting on team activities. Responsibilities also include maintaining a healthy, inclusive, and fair work environment that values diversity, collaboration, communication, and mutual respect.
