Linfield College, nestled in the heart of Oregon’s wine country, seeks an experienced development professional to lead by example and performance during an exciting time in the College’s history with its popular new president and the imminent public launch of a comprehensive fundraising campaign.

The new Director of Major Gifts will join a 15-member advancement team and focus on qualifying, cultivating, and soliciting or orchestrating the solicitation of individuals capable of mid-five and six-figure gifts.  Following national best practice, the new Director of Major Gifts will actively manage a portfolio of approximately 150 high-potential prospects located throughout the Northwest and nationally.  A minimum of three years of experience with evidence of success in individual giving is required. Salary is negotiable and a generous benefits package is offered.
