The new president will be coming to a strong and healthy university, following the leadership of President Lee Royce, who will be retiring in the summer of 2018. The university enjoys an outstanding home campus in Clinton (Jackson metro area), low debt, strong finances, a diverse/welcoming community, and exceptional academic and co-curricular programs including NCAA Division II athletic teams. MC’s College of Law is strategically located in downtown Jackson in the heart of Mississippi’s legal, judicial, and business center. The university is home to seven schools: Business, Christian Studies & the Arts, Education, Humanities & Social Sciences, Law, Nursing, and Science & Mathematics.
