Point Park University invites nomination and applications for the position of Provost and seeks a successful teacher, scholar and experienced academic leader committed to academic excellence whose life and work demonstrate intellectual curiosity with a commitment to the best in interdisciplinary, liberal arts education at the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels.

Point Park is a private university with a strong focus on experiential learning, located in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh. The ideal candidate for this position will evidence a strong record as teacher and scholar, combined with a successful record of increasing responsible academic leadership and administrative experience. A terminal degree in a discipline offered by the University is expected, and previous experience with collective bargaining is preferred. In addition, an understanding and commitment to the role of student life and activities as an essential dimension of each student’s total experience is desired.
