Cody Futch, MBA joined AGB Search in 2024 and has worked in higher education and healthcare executive search since 2003. He has successfully completed more than 200 searches across major academic medical centers, regional campuses, NCI-designated comprehensive cancer centers, research organizations, university student health programs, teaching hospitals, and other settings. Mr. Futch has particular expertise in clinical leadership roles and has significant experience recruiting inaugural leaders to new medical schools.

Before joining AGB Search, Mr. Futch served as a Vice President at a national search firm where he led client relationships and teams focused on both academic and non-academic healthcare searches. This perspective allows for a broad understanding of the overall healthcare industry and the intersection with academic medicine and health sciences. Mr. Futch holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and applies lean principles to helping clients design a search process that is thorough, timely, and efficient. He has been quoted as an expert in healthcare and academic recruitment in numerous publications, including Hunt Scanlon Media, Parents Magazine, Modern Healthcare, OBR Oncology, Fierce Healthcare, Fidelity, the Advisory Board, Medscape, and The Washington Post, among others.
