Laura Cable

Laura Cable joined AGB Search in 2023 as the firm’s Operations Coordinator. In her current role as Associate Director for Operations and Executive Coach, she is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational systems and processes, with a particular focus on technology and training.

Executive Coaching Highlights 

  • Helped C-suite executives become more confident, engaging, and effective speakers in high-stakes presentations.
  • Worked closely with a CFO to prepare for quarterly in-person board presentations by sharpening messaging and strengthening delivery.
  • Coached senior leaders on how to find their authentic voice and style as a speaker
  • Prepared executives for panel discussions and public conversations through coaching, rehearsal, and speaking strategy.

Experience 

Ms. Cable most recently served as Operations Coordinator and Project Manager at Odgers Berndtson, where she was responsible for strategy enablement of the operations team and project management of commercial, digital, and tech projects. With a focus on teamwork, communication, and efficiency, Ms. Cable ensured that all operational initiatives had clear intent and were aligned with commercial brand and strategy. Prior to her work at Odgers Berndtson, Ms. Cable has lead operations and logistics teams of nonprofit, arts administration, and healthcare companies, and executive search firms.

Ms. Cable also has parallel careers as an actor, motivational speaker, and public speaking coach. As an actor/singer/dancer, she has performed on stages all over the world. As a motivational speaker, she empowers middle and high schoolers to become resilient forces of nature by living lives of resilience… on purpose. And as a speaking coach, it is her goal with every client – whether they are c-suite executives looking to craft a keynote speech or more junior members of a company looking to boost confidence – to unlock each speaker’s unique voice and guide them on the path towards speaking with freedom, clarity, and even joy.
