Dr. Venkat Reddy joined AGB Search in 2024. Dr. Reddy is a certified executive coach, finance professor, and former Chancellor of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Over the last several years, he has coached and/or mentored Presidents, Provosts, Deans and other university leaders across the nation. With more than 18 years of senior higher education leadership experience, including service as a business dean and university chancellor, he coaches leaders on navigating career transitions, building effective relationships, managing conflict, and leading with resilience. His coaching approach emphasizes active inquiry, helping both emerging and experienced leaders strengthen their effectiveness, influence, and impact.

Consultant Experience
Dr. Reddy most recently served as the Special Advisor to the University of Colorado President. He was appointed Chancellor of the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS) in 2017 and led the university until 2023. Prior to the role, he was a finance faculty member and Dean in the UCCS College of Business. Under Dr. Reddy’s leadership, the campus executed strategic initiatives in the areas of health and wellness; cybersecurity; online education; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and public-private partnerships. The university also launched its 2020-2030 Strategic Plan, which charts a path for the next decade at UCCS. He successfully led the campus through COVID by making health and safety a top priority for the campus and community members. Dr. Reddy continues to stay engaged with UCCS alumni, friends of the university, and the Colorado Springs community.
Honors and Leadership
Dr. Reddy is currently on the board of the Pikes Peak Community Foundation. He has served on the boards of several organizations, including Colorado Springs Police Foundation, Goodwill, Wells Fargo Community Board and National Cyber Security Center Board of Directors. He also served as one of the Honorary Commanders at the United States Air Force Academy in 2021-2022.
