The Mount Aloysius College search committee has appointed Patricia Ireland as the new Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs. Dr. Ireland currently serves as Dean of Undergraduate Studies at Saint Joseph’s College in Standish, Maine. 

University of Montana President Seth Bodnar announced that Dr. Jon Harbor will serve as the new executive vice president for academic affairs and provost. Harbor currently serves as associate vice provost for teaching and learning and as executive director of digital education at Purdue University.

The Saint Edward's University Provost Search Committee has concluded their search and appointed Dr. Andrew Prall to assume the position, effective July 1, 2018. Dr. Prall comes to St. Edward's having served as Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The Des Moines University Provost Search Committee has completed its work and has appointed Dr. Ralitsa Akins as the next Provost of the university, effective May 1. 2018. Dr. Akins currently serves as Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs at Washington State University Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine in Spokane, Washington. Read more here

The Central Connecticut State University provost search has concluded with the hiring of Dr. David Dauwalder, effective March 16, 2018. Dr. Dauwalder currently is the interim dean of the Eberhardt School of Business at the University of the Pacific.

The University of Dallas Provost Search Committee has appointed Dr. Jonathan J. Sanford to be the next Provost of the University, effective February 1st. Dr. Sanford has served as Dean of the Constantin College of Liberal Arts at University of Dallas since 2015. Previously, Dr. Sanford served as Assistant and Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, as well as Chair of the Department of Philosophy, at Franciscan University of Steubenville.

The Fresno Pacific University Provost Search committee has appointed Dr. Deborah Gayle Copeland to be the next Provost/Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs of the University, effective mid-February 2018. Prior to Dr. Copeland's appointment, she served as provost at Simpson University. Read more here

AGB Search is pleased to announce the Simpson College Senior Vice President and Academic Dean Search Committee has completed its work and has appointed Kent Eaton to the position. Eaton had served as the interim since July 2016, replacing former academic dean Steve Griffith. Read more here

AGB Search is pleased to announce that Dr. David Rehm has been appointed the Vice President for Academic Affairs for Misericordia University. Dr. Rehm comes to Misericordia from Mount St. Mary's University (MD) where he worked his way up through the faculty to the position of Provost, which he held for ten years.

Dr. Karen Schmitt has been appointed as the new Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of the University of Wisconsin Colleges. Dr. Schmitt is currently the dean of the School of Arts and Sciences and vice provost for research and sponsored programs at the University of Alaska Southeast.
