AGB SEARCH ANNOUNCES RECENT LEADERSHIP APPOINTMENTS

Christian Brothers Conference (CBC) has announced the appointment of Tom Southard as its first executive director. Southard is currently the chief operating officer at the Conference of Major Superiors of Men. Read more.

Eastern University has named Christa Lee-Chuvala as its interim dean of business and leadership. Lee-Chuvala has been a member of the Eastern community since 2017 and currently serves as the faculty chair of the Leadership Fellows Program.

Gonzaga University has appointed Sacha E. Kopp as its new provost. Kopp currently serves as the senior vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). Read more.

Monroe Community College announces the appointment of Robin Cole, Jr., as vice president, economic and workforce development and career technical education. Cole is currently the dean of business and technologies at Southwest Tennessee Community College.

North Dakota State College of Science has appointed Rod Flanigan as its 10th president. Flanigan currently serves as the dean of business and technology at Cochise College and will begin his tenure at NDSCS by July 1. Read more.

Pittsburg State University has selected Daniel Shipp as its 10th president. Shipp serves as vice chancellor for strategic initiatives and associate to the chancellor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Read more.

Pratt Institute has announced the appointment of Donna Heiland as its new provost, effective April 18. Heiland had been serving as interim provost, and previously served as vice provost for academic affairs. Read more.

Trinity College has announced the appointment of Matthew S. Hyde as the dean of admissions and financial aid. Hyde currently serves at Lafayette College as assistant vice president for enrollment management and dean of admissions. Read more.

The University of Colorado has announced the appointment of Jamie Mager as director of gift planning/philanthropic advisor for the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, to begin on May 17. Mager joins the university from her current role as senior director of estate and gift planning for the American Cancer Society.

The University of Nebraska at Kearney has appointed Kristen Majocha as senior vice chancellor for academic affairs beginning July 1. Majocha currently serves as dean of education and liberal arts and the dean of social sciences and human services at California University of Pennsylvania. Read more.

The University of Portland has appointed Robert Kelly as its 21st president. Kelly becomes the first lay president and first African American to lead the university in its 121-year history. Read more.

The University of South Carolina has appointed Donna K. Arnett as its new executive vice president for academic affairs and provost beginning August 1. Arnett is currently the dean of the College of Public Health at University of Kentucky. Read more.
