Mr. Evens Wagnac has been appointed as the new Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Metropolitan College of New York. He will officially assume his new role on June 9, 2025. Mr. Wagnac is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in fiscal management, strategic leadership, and operational efficiency across a broad range of sectors, including higher education, for-profit enterprises, and non-profit organizations. He currently serves as Associate Dean for Finance and Administration at Rutgers University, where he has successfully aligned financial strategies with institutional goals. He manages operating budgets exceeding $75 million and capital budgets totaling $152 million. Mr. Wagnac has also held leadership positions at Xerox, JPMorgan Chase, TD Bank, and Citizens Bank. His leadership has consistently driven financial performance, ensured regulatory compliance, and fostered a culture of growth and innovation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Massachusetts and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Phoenix.
