The Fairmont State University Board of Governors announces Dr. Mirta M. Martin as president-elect of the university, effective January 1, 2018. Dr. Martin has more than 30 years of experience in higher education, banking, advisory and consulting. Read more here

The Montana University System Board of Regents has selected Seth Bodnar as the next President of the University of Montana, effective January 1, 2018. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Bodnar is a senior executive at General Electric. Prior to his work at General Electric, he had a distinguished career in the military, serving in the 101st Airborne Division and the U.S. Army's First Special Forces Group. As a member of the Army's elite Green Berets, he commanded a Special Forces detachment on multiple deployments around the world and later served as a special assistant to the commanding general in Iraq. For more information about the appointment, please see the announcement on the University of Montana website here

AGB Search is pleased to announce that the Nevada System of Higher Education has selected Dr. Thom Reilly as the next chancellor of the institution, effective August 7, 2017. Dr. Alan Ray has been appointed as the ninth president of Fisher College, effective July 1, 2017. Most recently, Dr. Ray served as president of Elmhurst College, in Illinois, for seven years. Read about his appointment here

Dr. Robert E Anderson has been appointed as the new President of the State Higher Education Executive Officers, effective August 1, 2017. Dr. Anderson currently serves as Interim Chief Academic Officer and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs for the University System of Georgia. To read more about his appointment click here

Dr. Holz-Clause has served as dean of the Huntley College of Agriculture and as a tenured professor in the Department of Agricultural Business Management and Agriculture Science at California State Polytechnic University Pomona since 2014.
