Dr. Lorraine Sterritt, a national leader in higher education with experience at some of America’s finest institutions, has been named the 17th president of Saint Michael's College in Vermont. Dr. Sterritt will be the first woman to hold the position in the College’s history. Read more here

The Board of Trustees of Gammon Theological Seminary is pleased to announce the appointment of Rev. Dr. Ken J. Walden as the new President-Dean, effective January 1, 2018. Dr. Walden comes to Gammon from Hood Theological Seminary where he has served as the Director of the Center for Chaplaincy, Director of Supervised Ministry, and Associate Professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling. The board of trustees at Wiley College announced that Dr. Herman J. Felton Jr. is appointed as the next president to lead their college. Prior to his appointment, Dr. Felton was the president of Wilberforce University. Read more here 

The Limestone College Presidential Search has concluded and the search committee has appointed Dr. Darrell Parker as the 22nd President of the College. Dr. Parker is expected to officially take office on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Since 2012, Dr. Parker has been serving as the Dean and Professor of Economics for the College of Business at Western Carolina University. Read more here

The Iowa Board of Regents has appointed Dr. Wendy Wintersteen as the new president of Iowa State University, effective November 20, 2017. Prior to Dr. Wintersteen's appointment, she was the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University. Read more about the successful appointment here

The Fairmont State University Board of Governors announces Dr. Mirta M. Martin as president-elect of the university, effective January 1, 2018. Dr. Martin has more than 30 years of experience in higher education, banking, advisory and consulting. Read more here

The Montana University System Board of Regents has selected Seth Bodnar as the next President of the University of Montana, effective January 1, 2018. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Bodnar is a senior executive at General Electric. Prior to his work at General Electric, he had a distinguished career in the military, serving in the 101st Airborne Division and the U.S. Army's First Special Forces Group. As a member of the Army's elite Green Berets, he commanded a Special Forces detachment on multiple deployments around the world and later served as a special assistant to the commanding general in Iraq. For more information about the appointment, please see the announcement on the University of Montana website here

AGB Search is pleased to announce that the Nevada System of Higher Education has selected Dr. Thom Reilly as the next chancellor of the institution, effective August 7, 2017. Dr. Reilly currently serves as the Director of the Morrison Institute for Public Policy at Arizona State University. Read more about his appointment here

Dr. Alan Ray has been appointed as the ninth president of Fisher College, effective July 1, 2017. Most recently, Dr. Ray served as president of Elmhurst College, in Illinois, for seven years. Read about his appointment here

Dr. Robert E Anderson has been appointed as the new President of the State Higher Education Executive Officers, effective August 1, 2017. Dr. Anderson currently serves as Interim Chief Academic Officer and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs for the University System of Georgia. To read more about his appointment click here
