Dr. Louise Feroe has been appointed Interim Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Manhattanville. Dr. Feroe’s long experience in higher education includes service as a professor, dean, provost and president at Mercy College, and as Senior Vice Chancellor and Acting Chancellor of Connecticut State University System.
Dr. Christopher Maples has been selected as Interim Chancellor of the Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri – Rolla). Formerly he served as president of Oregon Institute of Technology, as Executive Vice President for Research of the Nevada System of Higher Education, a professor at Indiana University and a program director at the National Science Foundation.
Dr. Richard Heist has been named Interim Dean of the School of Engineering at Fairfield University. He is the Senior Vice President Emeritus for Academic Affairs and Research at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He formerly served as Dean of Engineering at Manhattan College and as a professor and dean at the University of Rochester.

You can decide the number of candidates you’d like to consider, through what process, and negotiate compensation and other contract terms with your finalist directly. If, after working together, you and the interim appointee wish to explore a longer-term contract, we welcome that.
