The University of Hartford (Uhart) invites applications and nominations for the position of Dean of the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions (ENHP).
Located in Hartford, Connecticut, the University of Hartford is a comprehensive private university founded more than 60 years ago focused on advancing the public good through meaningful connections within its communities. The University offers more than 100 undergraduate and 46 graduate-level degree programs, seven associate degree programs, and 40 certificate and diploma programs.
The Dean will report to the Provost and serve as a collaborative and creative colleague on the Council of Deans, working together to advance the strategic objectives of UHart as a whole. The Dean will oversee a College comprising approximately 58 full-time and
124 part-time faculty, 942 undergraduate and 587graduate students, and 15 full-time staff.
The next Dean of the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions will be experienced and credentialed in a health-related field with a strong understanding of the education discipline, and significant leadership experience. The ideal candidate will possess the terminal degree within their field and a record of academic and administrative accomplishment commensurate with the rank of full professor.
